From the widened single frame, to the side air intakes with sporty chrome trims, to the narrow headlights – the progressive nature A6 Sedan’s front gives a great impression at first sight. The sharpened shoulder line with strong curves above the wheel arches accentuates the quattro inheritance. The exterior mirrors have a sporty location by the armrest. Moreover, the coupé-like flowing roofline elegantly leads into the rear end, formed in three dimensions with a characteristic aluminium style.
The optional HD Matrix LED headlights with dynamic indicator light impress from two different perspectives. They provide the driver with optimum road lighting without dazzling oncoming traffic, and maximise the A6 Sedan’s effective beam width thanks to the outward focus of the characteristic lighting segments.
The optional contour ambient light package creates a unique atmosphere and gives the interior of the A6 Sedan a fascinating ambience, characterised by a sense of well-being. Precise contour light guides accentuate the instrument panel, central console and other striking design structures in 30 different colour tones with continuous dimming.
The interior of the new Audi A6 Sedan has been designed more spaciously than its predecessor. Its increased passenger compartment length provides for more legroom, especially for passengers in the rear. In addition, head and shoulder room at the front and rear have been improved. The luggage compartment offers more loading width with the same volume of 530 litres, and the well-developed aerodynamics of the Audi A6 Sedan provide a pleasantly quiet interior even at high speeds.
The Audi design selection guarantees an aesthetically coordinated pre-selection of unique materials, colours and functions. From the high-quality decorative inlays in natural agate grey birch wood, door trim and armrest in mother-of-pearl beige, to individual contour seats in Valcona leather in the front, which can optionally be cooled and heated and, if desired, can incorporate a relaxing massage function – the Audi design selection offers quality and comfort down to the last detail.
Click, wipe, zoom, scroll. The MMI touch response operating concept brings the comfort of current smartphones into the vehicle and extends it by a decisive factor: haptics. If your finger touches the display, it does not immediately trigger a function. Input is only recognised when you press lightly with a defined force, and you receive a mechanical confirmation pulse as well as a clicking sound. So that operation is easy and safe even under difficult road conditions. On the upper display, the driver manages infotainment and navigation services; on the lower display, text input, air conditioning and various comfort functions can be controlled. The 12.3-inch display of the optional Audi virtual cockpit, with functions such as navigation, telephone or audio exactly within your field of vision, gives you an even better overview.
